Protetanus
Description

Tetanus hasn't gone away

Now you can reliably determine tetanus immune status fom one drop of whole blood

Protetanus is a single step immunoassay for the determination of anti tetanus immune status.

The use of Protetanus in emergency access enables the clinician to be certain of the patient's immune status and accordingly to implement the appropriate strategy for prophylaxis.

Based on immunochromatographic principles the assay utilises a combination of tetanus toxoid coated on the solid phase together with a tetanus toxoid dye conjugate.

The Protetanus assay can be performed on whole blood, plasma or serum and is available in kits containing 40 protetanus immunochromatographic platforms and all the associated accessories (40 safety lancets, 40 pipettes, stickers and diluent) to complete 40 immunoassays.

Protetanus should be stored betwen 4°C and 30°C and has a shelf life in excess of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
